The Park House is said to have been built in the 1790s at the mouth of the Rouge River in Detroit. When Detroit was ceded to the United States, the owners decided to dismantle the building and float it down the Detroit River to Amherstburg. History is preserved and brought to life with Ghost Tours throughout the year.
WIFF Alley is an “entertainment corridor” connecting the venues for Windsor International Film Festival aka WIFF, that celebrates the festival’s 15th anniversary and is an effort to promote the arts, especially film. WIFF had three artists — Denial, Derkz and Kristina Bradt — paint the space. The festival is also hanging permanent lights and signs there to complete the look of the alley.

The Arts, Culture and Tourism (ACT) Committee maintains our inventory of outdoor murals, which include large scale murals and Bell Box murals. The history of the area and its landscape are portrayed in the murals and can be found throughout Essex Centre and Harrow.
